SCM 5050 - Strategic Transportation Management This course will analyze and evaluate surface, water, air, and intermodal transportation systems within comprehensive distribution networks. Trade-offs between transportation and the other components of the distribution system (warehousing, inventory control, communications, packaging, cargo handling), as well as with production and marketing (demand signals), are evaluated. This course will provide practical working knowledge of international logistics, supply chain management, documentation, and regulatory issues.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: BUS 1750 and SCM 2800 and SCM 3050, or graduate admission
