ED 3020 - Teaching and Learning in the Secondary School

This course is designed to prepare students for the responsibilities of classroom instruction. Emphasis is placed on writing clear outcome statements for instruction, designing learning activities which motivate students and enable learners to retain information and transfer learning; and designing assessment strategies. Requires participation in a secondary school classroom.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: ED 3000 for College of Arts and Sciences major(s) only. Corequisite: ED 3010.
