DANC 2960 - Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis

An overview of the theoretical framework and language for describing movement which was developed by Rudolf von Laban. This course includes the history of the development of Laban Movement Analysis, motif writing, and discussion and practice of the theories of Effort, Space, Shape and their relationship to Bartenieff Fundamentals(SM).
