The non-teaching French major requires a choice between two content areas, Literature & Culture or Linguistics & Culture.

Literature & Culture content area
Students focusing on the Literature & Culture content area must take thirty-six hours beyond 1000-level to include And one 5000-level literature or culture course.
The following courses cannot be counted toward the major
