Substance Abuse Services Minor

The minor in Substance Abuse Services is meant to supplement formal training in other fields such as education, psychology, sociology, social work, occupational therapy, and others.

Program Requirements

The six courses which comprise the 18-hour minor are:

ADA 3200 - Legal and Illegal Drugs Credits: 3 hours
ADA 3250 - Substance Abuse Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Credits: 3 hours
ADA 3260 - Substance Abuse Treatment Processes Credits: 3 hours
ADA 3270 - Individual, Group, and Family Treatment Credits: 3 hours
CECP 4830 - Treating Diverse Clients in Employee Assistance Programs Credits: 3 hours
SWRK 4200 - Ethical Issues in Substance Abuse Services Credits: 3 hours
