The minor in Chinese requires the completion of 23 hours

including 1000-level, 2000-level, and the following or their equivalent:

• CHIN 3160 - Chinese Composition Credits: 3 hours
• CHIN 3170 - Chinese Conversation Credits: 4 hours

Completion of the following courses beyond 2000-level is an option.

• CHIN 4770 - Foreign Study Credits: 1 to 16 hours
• CHIN 5500 - Independent Study in Chinese Credits: 1 to 3 hours
