The Minor in Multimedia Arts Technology - Music is a concentrated course of study in audio engineering, digital media, electronic music, and other interdisciplinary applications of technology in the fine arts. The Minor in Multimedia Arts Technology - Music is open to both music majors and non-music majors.

Lower-level core requirements (7 hours)
Upper-level electives (minimum 8 hours)
Alternate elective
Subject to approval by the School of Music undergraduate advisor and by the department offering the alternative course, an alternative course (2-3 hours) related to arts and technology may be used to fulfill part of the total. This could be another music course (e.g., MUS 5995 - Special Topics in Music) or a relevant course from another department (e.g., ART 2750 - Video Art I, COM 2650 - Digital Media, etc.). Note:
Any course which is already required as part of a student’s major degree may not be used to satisfy the requirements for Multimedia Arts Technology - Music minor. |
