Environmental and Sustainability Studies Minor (ESSN)

This minor is offered to students who seek to understand their environment and the complexity of environmental issues, and to engage in developing proactive solutions to achieve environmental conservation and justice, but who do not have time to be a major.
Academic Standards
Students in this program must earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses counted toward their minor.
To complete the minor, students must take ENVS 2050 and five Core Courses, one from each of the four Core Areas plus a fifth course from any Core Area or any ENVS course.
A minimum of 18 hours is required for this minor.

4. Exploring Environmental Issues Related to Diversity and Justice
Note: Students are encouraged to speak regularly with an advisor to ensure minor requirements are met.
