Workforce Education and Development Major (WDLJ)

This major intends to prepare graduates for a variety of workforce education and development roles. Graduates from the program have the opportunity to become trainers and job placement specialists in business and industry, higher education, social services, and the government sectors.

Required Workforce Development Professional Level Courses

WFED 5121, 4010, 4020, 4030, 5750, 5120, 5130, and 5420 are required. Students are required to earn 30 credits in professional level workforce education and development courses. Students taking WFED 5750 for 9 credits will fulfill this requirement. Students taking WFED 5750 for 3 or 6 credits must fulfill this requirement by taking WFED 5100, 5010, or 5430.
