The Integrated Science major is designed for students preparing to teach science as integrated content in middle and high school (grades 6-12). It is open to any student interested in a broad understanding of science across multiple disciplines. This program is only available as a second major, and requires a first major in biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics. Any courses applied to the first major will be waived from this program. Note: successful completion of this program prepares students for graduate-level work leading to teacher certification but does not fulfill all requirements for initial teacher certification. No grade below a “C” will be accepted in the required courses.
