Undergraduate Certificate in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHF)

The purpose of the undergraduate certificate in SLHS is to allow students with at least 48 college credits in another field/discipline to gain basic knowledge in the field of speech, language and hearing science. The certificate will provide common course prerequisites for graduate programs in either Speech Language Pathology or Audiology and may be offered in either virtual or in person format. Additional electives are available as needed to meet individualized needs. Students are advised to confirm the specific requirements of any graduate programs they are interested in attending.

Admission Requirements:

•    At least 48 college credits
•    2.5 overall GPA

Required Departmental Courses (minimum 17 hours)
