Food Marketing Minor (FMTN)

Western Michigan University houses the premier Food Marketing program in the United States. With very few exceptions, graduates are all employed within three months of graduating. The Food Marketing faculty has over 100 years of combined industry experience. The program’s Industry Advisory Board is actively engaged in students’ success. The program includes a student organization, the Food Marketing Association, which organizes the top Food Marketing Conference in the industry and operates the Food Industry Research and Education (FIRE) Center.

The Food and Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing minor has been developed for students in different fields of study interested in careers in the fast-moving consumer goods industry and who want hands-on and practical knowledge of the industry to be better prepared for their careers.

The Food Marketing minor requires 15 credit hours.
