General Business Minor (GBZN)

Students pursuing the General Business minor must complete at least 33% of all minor courses at WMU. Any student who completes the B.B.A. program requirements will automatically receive a general business minor. Students pursuing a degree other than a B.B.A. degree may minor in General Business by completing the following:

Required Courses

ACTY 2100 - Introduction to Financial Accounting and Analysis Credits: 3 hours
BUS 1750 - Applying Business Fundamentals Credits: 3 hours
MGMT 2500 - Organizational Behavior Credits: 3 hours
MKTG 2500 - Marketing Principles Credits: 3 hours
FIN 3200 - Business Finance Decision Making Credits: 3 hours
OR
FIN 2420 - Entrepreneurial Finance Credits: 3 hours

Elective Courses

Choose one course (3 credit hours) from the following:

CIS 2700 - Information Technology Foundations for Modern Business Credits: 3 hours
