Costume Design Minor (CSDN)

This program will prepare students in the area of costuming for theatre and the performing arts and will provide opportunities for students to serve as part of the theatre production team. 15 hours are required for this minor.

Course Plan for the Costume Design Minor

Students will take for the following course work:

(15 hours are required)

THEA 1330 - Introduction to Theatre Design Credits: 3 hours
THEA 1700 - Script Analysis Credits: 3 hours
THEA 2330 - Costume Design Credits: 3 hours
THEA 2900 - Theatre Practicum Credits: 1 to 8 hours
(One hour completed three times for a total of three hours)

Students will select one of the following courses:

THEA 2311 - Theatrical Rendering Credits: 3 hours
OR
THEA 4900 - Individualized Study in Theatre Credits: 1 to 6 hours
(Three hours are required)
