The Film and Digital Storytelling minor focuses on the skills necessary to create compelling narratives using innovative and cutting-edge digital technologies. Students will study various aspects of digital storytelling, including scriptwriting, sound design, digital production, and post-production techniques. The minor emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and technical proficiency, enabling students to contribute to the ever-evolving world of visual storytelling.
A minimum of 18 hours is required for this minor.
This minor is open to all students except those majoring in Film, Video, and Media Studies.

Additional Program Information
- All course prerequisites must be met to enroll in upper-level courses. A course and its prerequisite cannot be taken at the same time.
- Grade requirement: A minimum grade of “C” is required in all courses applied toward the minor. The School prohibits students from taking a class more than twice for credit.
