Finance Major (FINJ)

The Finance major emphasizes analytic, problem solving, and computer skills that are necessary for the finance and investment industry. The major provides students the opportunity to study corporate finance, banking, investment and portfolio management, and international finance. The major also prepares students who want to pursue graduate study in finance. A minimum of 30 hours is required for this major.

ECON 2010 - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: 3 hours
ECON 2020 - Principles of Macroeconomics Credits: 3 hours
FIN 3100 - Introduction to Financial Markets Credits: 3 hours
FIN 3410 - Intro to FinTech Credits: 3 hours
FIN 3450 - Essentials of Financial Modeling Credits: 3 hours
FIN 3510 - Investment Analysis Credits: 3 hours
Select one additional course (three hours) from the following:
FIN 4250 - Short Term Financial Management Credits: 3 hours
