The undergraduate certificate in UAS Operations provides students with operational knowledge and skills that prepare them for success in a myriad of industries that utilize UAS. Students will learn, through hands-on labs, how to safely operate sUAS to the NIST and ASTM standard. Additional courses will prepare students to deal with project management, aviation safety management systems, aviation law, geophysical applications, or geological and environmental applications. Most courses will have in-person components that will require the student to be present at campus for entirety of the semester.
