Criminal Justice is an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to provide perspective on the entire criminal justice system. The program is designed to provide a well-rounded, theoretical, and practical education necessary for careers in criminal justice and/or graduate work in law, criminology, or other areas.

The Criminal Justice Major requires thirty-three hours of core and specialized classes including: Criminology, Criminal Justice Process, Sociology of Law Enforcement, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Process, Advanced Criminology, and Methods of Data Collection and Analysis. Specialized work in juvenile justice, courts, probation, and law enforcement is available as well as certifiability as a Michigan police officer.
