HIST 3280 - African-American History and Culture Survey of history and culture of African-Americans from colonial times to the present; emphasis on cultural achievements and diversity, myths and prejudices of non-African-Americans, struggle for civil and human rights, and the dilemmas of integration versus separate identity. Brief survey of United States in a pan-Diaspora context.
