HPHE 1490 - Computer Applications in HPHE This course provides an introduction to computer terminology, technology, communication, and information systems. Its purpose is to provide students with the knowledge of current computer applications in the fields of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. The course includes, but is not limited to the use of the computer for information gathering via the Internet, information processing and communications, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Credits: 3 hours
Notes: Credit cannot be earned for both HPHE 1490 and either BIS 1020 or 1100, FCS 2250, SOC 1820, or CS 1050.
