ECON 3190 - Environmental Economics

The study of economic aspects of environmental problems. Benefit-cost analysis is introduced and applied to problems in the management of air, water and other natural resources. Environmental problems of selected industries—including transportation and electric power—economic growth, population and environmental quality are analyzed. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 3: Connections – Local and National Perspectives Category.
