ACTY 6010 - Accountancy This course is designed for graduate students who have no academic background in accounting; M.S.A. students are not permitted to enroll in ACTY 6010. It is a study of the fundamental concepts and applications of financial and managerial accounting. The course emphasizes the use of accounting information and the analysis of accounting statements rather than the recording of transactions and the preparation of accounting statements. Students cannot receive credit for both ACTY 601 and equivalent courses.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to the MBA program or consent of the Chair of the Department.
Credits 3 hrs.
Notes: Open to Graduate Students Only. Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the MBA or MSA program or the consent of the Director of Graduate Business Programs
