HOL 6500 - Seminar in Holistic Methods I


This course will provide students with an understanding of health from a whole perspective. Through experiential activities and the exploration of new models and paradigms of health, students will develop a deeper knowledge of the relationship between body, mind, and spirit, and the effect on health and healing. The course will provide an opportunity for students to discuss ways to integrate holistic models and modalities into a health care setting or practice and to work with other health care providers. The format for this course will be a combination of experiential, lecture, discussion, small group activities, guest speakers, and audio and video presentations.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: HOL 5310.

Credits 3 hrs.
