MGMT 6520 - Strategic Human Resource Management


The role of HRM in generating sustained competitive advantage is examined. Theory, policies, and practices that guide effective management of diverse human resources are explored. Strategic choices regarding staffing, evaluation, rewards, dismissal, and employment relations in a changing work environment are discussed.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission the MBA program or consent of the HCOB Director of Graduate Business Programs.

Credits 3 hrs.

Open to Graduate Students Only. Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the MBA or MSA program or the consent of the Director of Graduate Business Programs. Repeatable for different topics.
