SWRK 6420 - Evaluation of Social Work Practice

This course focuses on the knowledge and skill to understand and carry out research on social work practice. The components of the course consist of program evaluation, designs appropriate for the evaluation of clinical practice, and studies of empirical research that address the features and effectiveness of interventions in relation to the conditions that are targeted for amelioration. The course is designed to help practitioners make informed judgments about the utility of different treatment modalities, and their import for service delivery design.
