ED 6280 - Curriculum Theory This course provides students with an in-depth examination of significant historical and philosophical influences on curriculum, as well as important theoretical orientations within the field. The purpose of the course is to enable students to engage in critical reflection from theoretical perspectives on the purposes and practices of schooling, and to bring this critical reflection to curriculum planning and evaluation, and to their own teaching practices.
Credits: 3 hours
