PADM 6970 - Dissertation Seminar Dissertation Seminar is intended to assist doctoral students in the preparation of a dissertation proposal and to facilitate the transition from course work to dissertation. This course will review proposal components, with particular emphasis on research design and developing the literature review, and will also focus on key issues such as dissertation format standards, psychological and time management demands, committee formation, HSIRB training, and project management.
Credits: 3 hours
Notes: In most cases this course should be taken after comprehensive exams have been successfully passed and after all methods courses for the doctoral program are completed. Open to Graduate students only.
