STAT 6640 - Design of Experiments I An applied course in the design and analysis of experiments. Topics include: general considerations in the design of an experiment; standard designs such as Latin square, balanced incomplete block, split plot, and nested; pooling of experiments; multiple comparison techniques; orthogonal contrasts and polynomials; factorial arrangement of treatments; fixed, random, and mixed models; confounded designs; fractional replication.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: STAT 6620
