ME 5300 - Theoretical and Computational Fluid Mechanics The theory and numerical implementation of ideal flow, viscous effects, and exact solutions of Navier-Stokes equations. Special emphasis will be on planning methods, conformal mapping, and singular distributions for flows around two- and three- dimensional bodies. Familiarity with VMS and some FORTRAN experience are required.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ME 3560 with a grade of “C” or better, or instructor approval.
Credits: 3 hours
