ME 5450 - Computational Fluid Dynamics I Basics of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) including classification of partial differential equations, finite difference formulations, parabolic partial differential equations, stability analysis, elliptical equations, hyperbolic equations, scalar representations of the Navier-Stokes equations and grid generation.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ME 3560 and CS 2010, with a grade of “C” or better in all prerequisites; or instructor approval.
Credits: 3 hours
