COM 3440 - History of Animation This course surveys the history of animation from its beginnings in the early twentieth century to its shift toward computer-generated imagery in more recent decades. We will examine short and feature-length animated films from across the world, focusing on the social, cultural, and economic circumstances that have influenced their production and reception.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: COM 2410 with a grade of “C” or better.
