HPHE 2210 - Healthy Behaviors This course will provide students with an introduction to the most commonly used theories in health education promotion practice. Emphasis on the application of health behavior change theories and models to health issues relevant to students and school communities to promote healthy behaviors and guide effective health education programs.
Credits: 4 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Health Education: Community, Health Education: School, Physical and Health Education Teacher Education K-12 (and pre-program), Pre-Health Education School Emphasis; and minors in Health Education: Community Education, and Health Education School.
