This course explores the history, meaning and impact of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s through two crucial cultural events: the Vietnam War and the emergence of Rock and Soul music. The course aims to explore the history of the war and the music, as well as the significant cultural debates, changes and impacts that continue to resonate around them today.
