GEOS 1200 - Climate Change Geologic Perspective

We will learn how science works to identify truth. We will see how and why climate has changed over geologic time and is changing now, and how scientists predict future climate change. We will consider how climate change may affect people’s lives, and how to best reduce the risks that climate change poses. We will be able to calmly listen to others and confidently share our informed views on climate change. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Science and Technology Category.
