EDLD 4795 - Capstone in Leadership for Social Change

This course provides students a final opportunity to reflect on merging leadership for social change with practice in their academic discipline. To accomplish this, students will complete a field-based social change leadership project, develop an electronic leadership portfolio, and interact with leaders in their chosen field. This final course in the undergraduate minor in Leadership for Social Change focuses on the development of transformational leaders who understand and have the will to provide leadership for social change in their professional contexts in a diverse and ever-changing society.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: EDLD 2000, EDLD 2020, EDLD 3020; with a grade of “C” or better in all prerequisites; junior or senior standing required.

Credits: 3 hours

Restrictions: Restricted to minors in Leadership for Social Change.
