ENGL 6760 - Old English A course dealing with the grammatical structures of Old English and the sociolinguistic context in which this language was spoken and written, with a view to applying such linguistic study to translating and interpreting pre-1066 English literary texts, both poetry and prose, including Beowulf.
Credits 3 hrs.
