EDLD 6720 - School Finance

Intensive instruction and discussion of political and economic value premises involved in the funding and financing of schools. Critical examination of alternative patterns for design of public funding formula and practices for funding public schools. Consideration of patterns of fiscal resource development other than public funds as a means of financing public or private education.

Credits 3 hrs.

Open to Graduate Students Only. Completion of EDLD 6620 before enrollment in EDLD 6720 is recommended. Completion of EDLD 6020 and EMR 6400, or EDLD 6020 and ED 6010, is strongly recommended prior to taking this course.
