NUR 5310 - Advanced Professional Nursing

This course focuses on forward-thinking approaches for the profession of nursing in the 21st century. New definitions of advanced professional nursing will be discussed and challenged. This course, building upon the introduction to professional nursing in the undergraduate program, addresses such areas as informed practice, the culture of nursing, current and future roles of nurses, the dynamics of professional development and professional practice strategies.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Corequisite: NUR 5300 or instructor approval.
