Course Requirements
A major in anthropology consists of a minimum of 34 hours of anthropology courses and must include: 2. One writing intensive course in anthropology as designated in the catalog
3. Six (6) additional hours of course work at the 4000-level or above
4. No more than three (3) hours of course work at the 1000-level
5. A grade of “C” or better in every anthropology class counted toward the major
Additional Information
A student with a major in anthropology is strongly encouraged to take a broad range of courses in all four subdisciplines of anthropology: archaeology, cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. Baccalaureate Writing Requirement
