BIOS 5740 - Developmental Biology Developmental biology is the study of the formation of a complex, multicellular organism from a single cell, the fertilized egg. The course will present this material from both a classical description and an experimental cellular point of view. In addition to the lecture, laboratory exercises will provide experience in the recognition of the various stages of development and in the culturing and manipulations of embryos.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: BIOS 2500.
Credits: 4 hours
