CHEM 5150 - Inorganic Chemistry The course, along with CHEM 5700 and 5750, provides a capstone chemistry experience for undergraduates. The course will present the principles of inorganic chemistry in terms of its relevance to the “real world” of industry and environmental protection. Topics include symmetry, structure, and bonding, as well as a survey of the descriptive chemistry of the elements. Students are strongly advised to have already completed CHEM 5700 and be registered concurrently in CHEM 5750.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: CHEM 4310 or permission of the instructor.
Credits: 3 hours
Notes: Undergraduates with junior status and 12 hours of work in chemistry may enroll in 5000-level courses with prior approval of the department chair. When Offered: Fall
