ENGL 4150 - Literary Theory and Criticism An introduction to the theory and methods of literary criticism. Readings may be drawn from the history of critical theory or from modern and contemporary schools of criticism. Strongly recommended for all English majors, especially those planning to pursue graduate study. This course is approved as a writing-intensive course which may fulfill the baccalaureate-level writing requirement of the student’s curriculum.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: At least two upper-divison English courses.
Credits: 4 hours
