MATH 1180 - Precalculus Mathematics This course is designed to provide the student with basic algebraic and trigonometric concepts necessary for calculus. Topics include: real numbers, inequalities, coordinate systems, functions, polynomials, solutions of polynomial equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometry and trigonometric functions.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: MATH 1110, or at least 3 years of college preparatory mathematics and satisfactory score on placement mechanism. ACT/SAT score of 24/560 or greater.
Credits: 4 hours
