PHYS 3200 - Problems in Mechanics and Thermodynamics

This course is designed to enhance the problem-solving techniques needed by Secondary Education instructors in the teaching of mechanics and thermodynamics. Emphasis is on free-body diagrams, action-reaction pairs, and the energy balance in simple mechanical systems. The thermodynamics component will emphasize the First and Second Laws, P-V diagrams and energy balance in simple thermodynamic systems.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: PHYS 2050.
