HPER 4800 - Basic Electrocardiography The purpose of this course is to examine the anatomy, physiology and electrophysiology of the heart; identify and describe a normal EKG, identify and describe abnormal EKG’s; identify arrhythmias and abnormalities of the heart from an EKG; become familiar with common cardiac medications; observe a maximal graded exercise test.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: HPER 2980, 3170.
