MUS 3450 - String Methods


Extensive involvement with actual teaching of strings in public schools is a central part of this course. The course presents the theoretical, pedagogical, and practical aspects of string instruction in the elementary, middle, and senior high schools. Administrative duties needed to maintain string programs will be examined. Job seeking and professional growth will also be discussed.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: MUS 3440 with a “C” or better.
