GEOS 2200 - Climate Change: Geological Perspectives An introduction to the Earth’s climate over the expanse of geologic time. We will learn how and why Earth’s climate changed. We will study the current climate system using the perspective gained from earth history to assess present and future climate changes. We will learn how these changes will likely affect the lives of citizens in the United States and around the world, and how geosciences and technology can be used to predict and manage climate change’s adverse consequences.
Credits: 3 hours
