HIST 3604 - Europe After Rome, 400-1000 This course examines European society, economy, politics, and culture from late Roman times through the creation and collapse of the Carolingian empire, including its various successor states and neighbors from the Mediterranean to the North Sea. The course includes varied writing assignments and is designated a 3000-level writing intensive course in the Department of History.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: (HIST 1900 or HIST 2900); with a grade of “C” or better; or instructor approval.
Credits: 3 hours
